The Anne Johnston Health Station

Anne Johnston Health Station provides confidential primary care, disease prevention, and health promotion programs and services at no cost to youth, seniors and people with physical disabilities. This community health centre provides a wide range of services and programs including family medicine, adult day programs for seniors, drop in services for women with physical disabilities, sexual health education and services, and much more. Youth (aged 13 to 24) who live, work, or attend school withing the catchment area (St.Clair Ave. to Highway 401 between Bayview Ave. and Bathhurst St.); Seniors aged 55+ living within the same catchment area; and or people with physical disabilities who live in the City of Toronto are all eligible to use programs and services at Anne Johnston Health Station. HIV / AIDS in Canada >>
  • At the end of 2008, an estimated 65,000 Canadians were living with HIV.
  • In 2008, an estimated 2,300 to 4,300 new HIV infections occurred in Canada.
  • By the end of 2008, an estimated 22,300 people in Canada had died with an HIV/AIDS infection.
